Introduction to Precision Metal Stamping
Precision metal stamping refers to the manufacturing process starting from the sheet metal coils placed in the stamping machine. After the feed material arrives at the forming station, the die installed in the press presses the material into the desired shape. After the metal plate is made into the final shape through the mold, the manufacturing can be completed in stages. The mold is designed according to the shape of the final product. The stamping process can be done by various methods, such as bending, stamping, flanging, embossing, extrusion, extension and shearing. It may involve a single-stage movement, or it may involve multiple methods applied in stages on sheet metal or non-metallic materials.
