    The pelton turbine is a kind of hydraulic prime mover whose center line of efflux is tangent to the pitch circle of the runner and whose blades are composed of a series of double-bowl-shaped water dippers.According to the layout of the main shaft is divided into horizontal axis and vertical axis two, no matter which kind of its runner is always located in the atmosphere.

    This kind of turbine is suitable for high head and low flow hydropower station.The application head of large water bucket turbine is about 300-1700 meters, and the small one can reach 40-250 meters.At present, all power stations with a head of more than 1000 meters in the world adopt a bucket turbine, and the power of a single machine can reach more than 400MW.
