How Does The Mixing Tank Of The NX 12 CBM Concrete Mixer Truck Work?

Once the truck's engine starts running, it drives the power take-off (PTO) to rotate. The PTO then drives a high-pressure oil pump to transmit power to the motor. After the torque is amplified by a reducer, the mixing drum receives power and begins to work. Because the mixing drum needs to keep rotating, otherwise the concrete inside will solidify or segregate, unlike dump trucks, the mixer truck's PTO is a full-time PTO, mounted on the engine flywheel housing, and runs continuously with the engine.
