Industrial extruder steel ceramic band heater heating ring

Reheatek band heaters are ring-shaped heating devices that clamp around cylindrical elements like pipes and tubes that require external indirect heating. Due to the insulation material, band heaters can be separated into two types: Mica Band Heater and Ceramic Band Heater. Common applications include blow molding machines, drum heating, extrusion die, plastic injection molding machines, vending machines, food service warming pots etc.

Mica Band Heater

Mica band heaters are efficient and economical solutions to the indirect heating applications at medium temperature up to 300°C (sheath temp). Mica Bands are commonly used in Plastics Injection Molding, Extrusion, Blow Molding applications as well as in Commercial Cooking, Dies and Electric Motors. 

Ceramic Band Heater

Ceramic band heaters are medium to high temperature band heaters with a 450°C (sheath temp.) a maximum working temperature.They offer longer heater life, high processing temperature capabilities and full flexibility for ease of installation.
