Tungsten carbide corrugating roll is the most important part of single facer and it’s a essential part for corrugated cardboard or carton manufacturers. We apply JP8000 HVOF technology which is imported from American Praxair. 1.Durable from Supersonic Tungsten Carbide Spraying

Tungsten carbide corrugated roller producing technology is different traditional corrugated roll. Because of the particularity of tungsten carbide material, the requirement of the base material hardness is higher, flute profile before tungsten carbide spraying is more precise, which is needed to match the performance of tungsten carbide. Spraying technology is the key, which can ensure the hardness and binding force of tungsten carbide.Most advanced Praxair JP 8000 HVOF tungsten carbide spraying equipment and technology is adopted and Praxair 1342 super hard tungsten carbide powder is used for our corrugating roll. Before tungsten carbide spraying, we do sand blasting treatment on the surface which make rough surface to increase adhesion of tungsten carbide powder.

Advantage of tungsten carbide corrugated roll:

• The hardness is inferior to the excellent wear-resisting property of diamond. So the lifetime is 3-5 times longer than the chromed roller. This will reduce the cost about 50%-80%.
• Due to the excellent abrasive resistance, the roller top’s abrasion is between 0.06-0.08mm in every use cycle almost without distortion. And the top’s abrasion will not increase glue spreading, which avoids the common defection of paperboard and guarantee the ideal quality.
• Reduce the corrugated paperboard consumption. Such as it can lower paperboard usage, cut down the amount of glue consumption, reduce the waste loss.
