Coated Tungsten Carbide Corrugating Rolls

  Tungsten carbide coated corrugating rolls have an excellent wear resistance which leads to much longer roll life corrugated to chrome plated rolls.

  However, a rough surface, uneven coating thickness and weak adhesion strength results in many problems such as blistering boards, fractured boards and serious chip-offs.

  Our patented thermal spray method improves the adhesion strength of the tungsten coating layer and wear resistance of the coating. In addition, we can reduce surface roughness by using finer powder.

  Since we grind again after coating we can achieve the lowest coefficient of friction by completely removing the sharp edges of coating. After grinding, the thickness of the coating is also uniform, and it solves the blistering board problem, improving printing quality.
