Good description
Resonators are designed to eliminate a sound wave at a given frequency. Just like waves in the ocean, sound waves have a peak and trough. Sound waves of a particular frequency bounce off the interior of a resonator. The peak of a sound wave meets the trough of another wave of the same size, canceling each other out. The cancellation of the sound waves is what eliminates those annoying noises, giving you a better exhaust note.
Universal 2.25" Stainless Steel High Flow Straight Through Exhaust Resonator 20" Length
This resonator is fully polished stainless steel. It features 2.25'' ID inlet/outlet tips, with a 3.5'' diameter at the widest point. The canister section is 16'' long and the entire piece has an overall length of 20''. This is a weld on application.

Delivery time: Depends on the order quantity and our production schedule. But it wont be more than 30 days.
Usage of resonator
While mufflers reduce the exhaust volume, resonators tune the exhaust for a more pleasant sound. Resonators will remove some of the raspy and high-pitched noises from the exhaust but won’t do anything to muffle the volume. They complement mufflers by canceling out irritating buzzes and hums, as well as providing a smoother exhaust note.
Installation method: Clamp on and welded on.
