DMDEE is a colorless to yellowish liquid, with an amine-like odor. It is also miscible with water.

8. Storage& Handling

DMDEE has a shelf life of 24 months in unopened, original containers and kept at 20ºC. Room temperature (-15℃- +60℃) are ok for storage of DMDEE if the drums and IBCs are sealed well. Please kindly reference their freezing point and flashing point.

Ensure thorough ventilation of stores and work areas. It must be protected from moisture, fire, and explosion; prevent electrostatic charge, sources of ignition should be kept well clear, as well as acids and acid forming substances. Fire extinguishers should be kept handy. It is not spontaneously flammable in air. However, it is flammable and corrosive.
