Modified MDI Wanhua Wannate 8105 For Viscoelastic Foam
Modified MDI Wanhua Wannate 8105 Suitable For Viscoelastic Foam
1. Application
Modified MDI Wannate 8105 is a blend of polyol-modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate and polyphenylmethane polyisocyanate. It is primarily used in the production of cold-cured polyurethane (PU) foams for applications in the furniture, toy, and automotive industries, and is particularly well-suited for manufacturing viscoelastic foams.

4. Storage
Since WANNATE 8105 is a reactive chemical, it readily reacts with atmospheric moisture, forming insoluble ureas and carbon dioxide gas. This reaction may cause pressure buildup in sealed containers and an increase in the product’s viscosity. Therefore, containers must be completely dry and tightly sealed under a nitrogen blanket after use.
WANNATE 8105 should be stored indoors in tightly closed containers at ambient temperatures (15–35 °C) in a well-ventilated area. Exposure to low temperatures (below 10 °C) may cause crystallization; thus, the product must be protected from frost. If crystallization occurs, the material should be gently heated to 70–80 °C to remelt it. Localized overheating must be strictly avoided. After melting, the product should be thoroughly agitated before use.
5. Shelf Life
The recommended shelf life for WANNATE 8105 is nine months when stored under specified conditions.
