Product Description
Rubber to Metal Bonding Adhesive 815GB Analogue of Megum 3276/3270
Analogue of Megum 3276/3270 - High-performance bonding adhesive for elastomer-to-substrate applications
Product Overview
Rubber to Metal Bonding Adhesive 815GB is engineered for use under cover coat adhesives to create strong bonds between various vulcanized and unvulcanized rubber compounds and metals or other rigid substrates. This advanced formulation combines polymers, organic compounds, and mineral fillers in an organic solvent system.
Compatible Materials
When used with a cover coat, this primer adhesive delivers high-strength bonding between elastomers and diverse substrates:
- Metals: Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, zinc, titanium, magnesium, lead, and various alloys
- Non-Metals: Nylon, fiberglass, PTFE, rubber, plastics, fabric fibers, glass, and ceramics
Also functions effectively as a one-coat adhesive for bonding specific nitrile rubber compounds to rigid substrates during vulcanization.

Application Guidelines
Stirring: Thoroughly stir before use to achieve uniform mixing as sediment settles during storage. For extended painting processes, stir at high speed for 5-10 minutes every 2 hours.
Diluting: Can be diluted with MIBK diluents according to operational requirements. Use diluted products immediately; avoid long-term storage.
Application Methods & Dilution Ratios:
- Brush coating: No dilution required
- Roller coating: No dilution required
- Dip: 100 parts 815GB adhesive + 20-50 parts MIBK diluent
- Spray: 100 parts 815GB adhesive + 30-100 parts MIBK diluent
Coating: Apply evenly via brushing, dipping, roller coating, or spraying. Avoid excessive overflow.
Film Thickness: Dry film thickness (DFT) 5-15μm, 10-15μm for harsh environments
Drying: Room temperature drying: 30-60 minutes. Forced drying reduces drying time.
Cleaning: Before vulcanization heating, remove excess treatment agent with xylene-soaked rag. Once cured, solvent removal is not possible.
Vulcanization: Simultaneous vulcanization of rubber and adhesive yields optimal bonding properties. Quickly fill molding mold with rubber after coating placement. Actual curing conditions depend on rubber curing requirements.
Storage & Handling
Shelf Life: 12 months from shipment date when stored at <37℃ in original, unopened container.
Storage: Store in dry, room temperature environment. Avoid prolonged exposure to high humidity and high temperature conditions.
Safety: Do not store or use near heat, sparks, or open flame.
