Product Overview
ESR tubes with sandwich material construction feature an inner tube made of PP and outer tube made of PET. The PP inner tube prevents additive decrease, maintaining stable sodium citrate concentration, while the PET outer tube ensures long-term vacuum stability.
Application Specifications
Ø13×75mm ESR tubes are specifically designed for blood collection and anticoagulation in Automated Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate Analyzers using the Westergren method with a 1:4 sodium citrate to blood mixing ratio.
Ø9×120mm ESR tubes are compatible with various Automated Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate Analyzers.
Usage Instructions
Due to small volume and negative pressure, allow sufficient time for blood collection. Wait patiently until blood stops flowing into the tube, then mix anticoagulation and additive by turning the tube upside down 6-8 times. Inappropriate mixing may cause hemolysis, coagulation, or blood bubbles affecting test results.
