Medical Virus Sampling Tube with Nylon Swab
This sterile medical sampling tube system is designed for collection and transport of clinical virus specimens from nasal and throat areas. The complete solution supports microbial collection and delivery workflows for laboratory personnel.
Product Applications
Used for sampling and transporting clinical specimens for COVID-19, avian influenza, influenza, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, and other respiratory and intestinal viruses. Supports collection of respiratory tract bacteria, intestinal bacteria, viruses, chlamydia, and mycoplasma.
Product Structure and Composition
The virus sampling tube consists of three main components:
- Swab (optional configuration)
- Test tube with virus storage solution
- Protective cap
Available in two types based on storage solution (Type A and Type B) and nine specifications based on solution capacity. All components meet strict medical material standards:
- Protective cap: Polyethylene (PE) resin per GB/T 11115-2009
- Test tube: Polypropylene special materials per YY/T 0242-2007
- Swab head: PE synthetic fiber or man-made fiber
- Swab handle: Polypropylene, ABS resin, or PS resin per medical standards
Storage Conditions
Store in cool, non-corrosive, well-ventilated, clean environment:
- Temperature: 4-25°C
- Humidity: Not exceeding 80%

Usage Instructions
- Tear open package and remove flocked swab
- Collect sample from appropriate body areas
- Insert swab completely into virus specimen tube
- Bend swab at 180° angle to break at designated point
- Tighten cap securely and shake several times
