Product Overview
ASTM A269 TP316L stainless steel seamless tube measuring 31.75mm outer diameter, 1.65mm wall thickness, and 11800mm length. This austenitic steel tubing is designed for general corrosion-resisting applications and both low- and high-temperature service conditions.
Specification Compliance
All material is furnished in heat-treated condition and conforms to ASTM A269 chemical composition requirements. Testing includes flaring test, flange test, hardness test, and reverse flattening test. Non-destructive electric test or hydrostatic test is performed on all tubes.

Corrosion Resistance
316L stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance in atmospheric environments and many corrosive media, generally outperforming 304 grade. Considered the standard marine grade stainless steel, it resists potable water with up to 1000mg/L chlorides at ambient temperatures. Note: susceptible to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments and stress corrosion cracking above 60°C.
Heat Treatment
Solution treatment (annealing) involves heating to 1010-1120°C followed by rapid cooling. These grades cannot be hardened by thermal treatment.
