321H High Temperature Seamless Boiler Bank Tubes
TP 321 is a stabilized stainless steel offering excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range from 800°F to 1500°F (427°C to 816°C). Alloy 321 stainless steel tubing is stabilized against chromium carbide formation by the addition of titanium.

Material Properties & Advantages
321/321H stainless steel is a titanium-stabilized version of 304 stainless steel, specifically designed for applications within the sensitizing temperature range. Its resistance to sensitization, combined with higher strength at elevated temperatures, makes it suitable where 304 becomes sensitized or where 304L has insufficient hot strength.
Key advantages include excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures, superior creep and stress rupture properties compared to 304 and 304L alloys, and resistance to intergranular corrosion in mildly corrosive environments. The material maintains excellent forming and welding characteristics with outstanding toughness even at cryogenic temperatures.
Temperature Performance
321H stainless steel excels in operating temperature environments exceeding 500°C, offering better hot strength than 304L. The material provides reliable performance in the critical temperature range of 427°C to 816°C where chromium carbide precipitation typically occurs.
