Application
Calcium hydroxide is used in waste water treatment, drinking water purification, sugar refining, manufacture of medicines,
manufacture of animal feeds, manufacture of bleach, leather tanning, the manufacture of hair products, in the dental industry, food manufacturing, sewage treatment, sterilization, animal dips, coal processing, lime mortar, white wash, paints, road construction, etc.
1) It is raw material for the manufacture of quicklime (Calcium Oxide), slaked lime (Calcium Hydroxide), cement and mortar
2) Limestone is especially popular in architecture, and landmarks around the world
Pulverized limestone is used as soil conditioner to neutralize acid solids
