Z-Type Bucket Elevator Overview
The Z-type bucket elevator is a highly efficient material conveying system characterized by its Z-shaped configuration and superior sealing performance. This equipment transports materials from the inlet to the outlet through a chain-driven mechanism enclosed within a protective housing.
This versatile conveyor is suitable for multiple industries including food processing, agriculture, cosmetics, chemical manufacturing, ceramics, glass production, recycling operations, construction materials, metallurgy, and mining applications.
Operating Process
Feeding Stage
Materials are evenly distributed into lifting hoppers via vibrating feeders. This inflow feeding method prevents hopper overflow and minimizes material return during elevation, significantly reducing power consumption.
Lifting Process
Buckets attached to the chain assembly elevate materials to the designated height, maintaining product integrity throughout the vertical transport.
Discharging Operation
When buckets reach the top and pass over the head pulley, they invert for controlled discharge. The system supports single-point or sequential multi-point discharge configurations for flexible material handling.
Continuous Cycle
Empty buckets return to the base position via the chain system, ready for the next loading cycle, ensuring uninterrupted material flow.
