The screw conveyor is a machine that uses a motor to rotate a screw, and the blades

push the material to achieve conveying. It can convey, and is an ideal device for

conveying powdered materials. The environmental temperature for the use of screw

conveyors is -20～5℃; the material temperature is less than 200℃; the inclination

angle of the conveyor β≤20°; the conveying length is generally less 40m. Compared

with other conveying equipment, the screw conveyor has the advantages of simple

structure, small cross-sectional dimensions, good sealing performance, ability to and

unload at multiple points in the middle, convenient and safe operation, and low

When the screw shaft rotates, the material can only move forward along the bottom of

the conveyor under the push of the blades due to the gravity the material and the

friction between the material and the tube wall. The movement of the material at the

intermediate bearing is achieved by the push of the material behind it Therefore, the

transportation of the material in the conveyor is completely a sliding motion. The rotating

screw blades push the material to convey it, and the force that prevents material from

rotating with the screw blades is the weight of the material itself and the frictional

resistance between the conveyor housing and the material.
