The VTD series vacuum tray dryer operates as a static chamber dryer under vacuum conditions. Trays containing wet material are stacked on drying shelves within the chamber. Heat is transferred through steam, hot water, or thermal oil to the drying shelves, which heats the material. Under vacuum, moisture boiling points are significantly reduced, enabling evaporation at lower temperatures. The vacuum pump continuously removes evaporated moisture to accelerate drying, while the tubular condenser and buffer tank recover the evaporated moisture.
