The 1.85m³ effective volume continuous paddle dryer is engineered for efficient soybean meal processing with dual counter-rotating shafts featuring unique intermeshing hollow wedge-shaped paddles. This design ensures intimate mixing, optimized heat transfer, and self-cleaning capabilities.
Advanced Heating System
A large heat transfer area to volume ratio is achieved through hollow paddles and a jacketed vessel, both circulating heating medium. This results in an efficient, compact machine requiring less space and lower installation costs.
Structural Design
The main structure features a W-shaped shell with jacket housing a pair of hollow low-speed rotating shafts. Multiple mixing blades are welded onto the shafts, with both jacket and hollow mixing blades equipped with heat carriers for simultaneous dual-surface heating.
Wedge-shaped hollow blades are densely arranged on the hollow shaft, allowing thermal medium flow through the blades. The unit provides substantial heat transfer area per effective volume, operating with thermal medium temperatures ranging from -40°C to 320°C using steam or liquid types like hot water or heat transfer oil.
Self-Cleaning Technology
Indirect conduction heating prevents air from carrying away heat, with heat loss limited to environmental dissipation through insulation. The wedge-shaped blade surfaces maintain self-cleaning functionality as material particles continuously wash off attached residues during operation.
