I.Overview

The Tubing Swage is a tool used to shape the tubing reducing area to ensure the smooth passage of downhole equipment. Sometimes it can also be used to open the orange peel type dead plug at the end of the tubing.

II.Structural features

The Tubing  Swage is such a structure, the upper part of the external thread (or quick joint male end) and fishing neck; The inner diameter of the waist and the deformed tubing is roughly the same, so the middle is designed with ventilation or drainage holes, and the two ends of the waist are gradually thinner; The bottom can also be threaded to connect other tools. Tubing shaper is made of whole body alloy steel, and the parts used for shaping are quenched and tempered with a hardness of 43~45HRC.

III.Usage Connect

The tubing Swage to the lower part of the jar. When the tubing shaper goes down to the tubing reducing area and can no longer go down, the jar is used to jar downward to expand the reducing area, so as to ensure the smooth passage of the downhole device.
