2.5 Inch Guide Type Scraper Gauge Cutter Wireline

I. Overview 

The guide type scraper is used to gauge the tubing and to remove the scale, paraffin wax and debris etc., as well as ensuring the unhindered passage of subsequent bottom bole assembly.

This unique style of cutter has no hard edges and the protection cage helps in guiding the cutter as well as preventing damage to the cutting edge. Circulation can be achieved through the tool to remove debris during the operation.

II. Common specification parameters

The O.D. of guide type scraper can be processed according to customized part. Generally, it is more than the maximum O.D. of downhole tool slightly, and select the connecting thread and fishing neck with standard specifications as needed.

III. Structural features and use

The guide type scraper quenching treatment, the surface hardness in this area is high so as to scrape off wax, rust and rock waste smoothly. There are some threads in the cutting edge and there is a big clearance hole in the middle of body to discharge the rock waste smoothly and avoid stacking of rock waste and others and the tool cannot be operated normally. There are some threads out of the guiding head, its leading end is a cone and most part of it is milled off to guarantee fluid passes through it. The guiding head and body are crewed up with threads and elastic cylindrical pin to prevent loosing.Due to the guiding head, the pigging diameter of guide type scraper is larger than that of gauge cutter.
