Wireline Spring Centralizer Wireline Tool String

Ⅰ.Introduction 

A wireline spring centralizer is designed to assist in centralizing the tool string inside large bore tubing. Normally used in the tool string when running pressure and temperature gauges, it helps centralize and reduce shock being transmitted to the gauges. The design of this kind of centralizer enables one tool to centralize a large range of tubing ID.

The bow spring centralizer is designed to centralize the tool string in large diameter tubing andcasings.

The bow spring centralizer is able to pass through the restricted bores of the tail pipeand expand into the casing liner below thus enabling the tools to be held away from the casing.

Ⅲ.Structural features: 

The wireline spring centralizer is composed of upper contact, mandrel, centering sleeve, spring piece, lower contact, etc. Install the centering sleeve on the mandrel, connect the top end and bottom end of mandrel with upper contact and lower contact respectively, and fix the spring piece on the centering sleeve. The spring is released in free state. Adjust the releasing length of spring piece through adjusting the position of centering sleeve on the mandrel.
