10K 15k Quick Test Sub Wireline Pressure Control Equipment

Ⅰ. Introduction

Quick Test Sub is designed to save rig time while pressure testing a lubricator rig up, before exposing it to well pressure. When multiple wireline runs are required, the lubricator has to be tested each time the bottom connection is broken, and much time can be lost. After performing the first pressure testing of the whole string, subsequent  pressure test can be made using the Quick Test Sub to verify the integrity of the joint disconnected, rather than testing the whole lubricator assembly. This is done by connecting a small hand pump to the Quick Test Sub and testing the two O-Rings seals from outside.The Quick Test Sub s installed either above or below the BOP and becomes the joint  that is disconnected each time to insert and retrieve tools from the well

Ⅲ. Design Features

The Wireline Quick Test Sub is fitted between the lower lubricator and the BOP, and becomes the joint that is broken out between wireline runs. It looks and operates like any other quick union, but has two “O” ring seals instead of one. The pressure testing takes place between these two seals and effectively confirms the integrity of both. The upper-most of the two seals is of slightly larger diameter than the lower, facilitating

easy make/break of the connection.

IV. Maintenance 

After using this product every time, check whether the thread,Sealing surface and O-ring are damaged. If everything is normal, apply lubricating grease to the thread and sealing ring, and take protective wire for storage. If any damage is found to the O-ring or sealing surface, the

manufacturer shall be contacted in time for repair and replacement.
