I.Introduction

The Tubular Jar is designed to enable the operator to deliver effective jarring forces in conjunction with wireline running tools,and other devices.

Tubular Jar is primarily used for providing a bi-directional mechanical jar action in situations where there may be the potential for debris ingress.

III.Use 

Typically used in fishing scenarios where parted wire is present within the tubing, Tubular Jar can also be used during swabbing operations to bear the high loading or in large ID well bores where mechanical type ‘spang’ jars are prone to scissoring.
