Wireline Clamp Wellhead Wireline Pressure Control

I.Introduction:
The wire clamp (wire clamp/cable clamp) is a tool for temporarily clamping the wire/cable when lifting the blowout pipe at the wellhead. It is often used to clamp steel wires or cables on the ground during the lifting of the blowout preventer and during the salvage operation to facilitate the operation.
II. Structural features:
The structural principle of the wire clamp is similar to the double crank mechanism, which is mainly composed of a lifting ring, a connecting plate, a lock block, and a chuck body.
When the lifting ring is pulled, the lifting ring connecting connecting plate will press the lock block on the chuck body, so that the steel wire or cable is clamped in the V-shaped groove on the chuck body. The tighter the loop is pulled, the tighter the wire is clamped.
III. How to use:
1. Clamp the wire/cable:
1.1. First push the lifting ring down as shown in the figure to open the jaws of the wire clamp so that the steel wires and cables can enter the jaws;
1.2. Loosen the lifting ring, under the action of the internal torsion spring, the jaws are automatically closed, and the steel wire or cable is clamped in the jaws;
1.3. Connect the lifting ring to the blowout prevention pipe with a rope.
2. Loosen the steel wire/cable:
2.1. Tighten the steel wire with a winch or manually tighten the steel wire;
2.2. Push the lifting ring downwards and remove the wire clamp from the steel wire.
