The drill pipe joint adopts a double boss (double top) structure, which can enhance the sealing performance of the joint and prevent the mud pressure from leaking in the middle. Greatly reduce the resistance of pilot drilling and back drilling. Using this structure improves the torsional strength of the drill rod, so that the internal thread will not be deformed. Through optimized design and other strength and stress dispersion, the potential of the drill bit can be fully utilized.

Drill pipe usage notes

1. New drill pipe should be pasted oil before connection
2. Make up and break at least 3 times before drilling
3. Hard bending and plastic coating can be processed according to clients’ special requirements

After laboratory tests, after laboratory tests, both ends of a pipe are upsetted and proceeded to overall heat treatment, then friction welded. Before finished drill pipes are plated and packaged, a series of tests have to be implemented including hardness, metallurgical structure, physical performances, etc.
