Using hydraulic drive, the circumference of the six sided top expands to the corresponding diameter at the same frequency, making the pipe wall evenly stressed. At the same time of expansion, the center of the six sided top automatically corrects to be concentric with the center of the old pipeline, thereby reducing damage to the pipe wall.

Compared with the traditional duckbill expansion repair method, the duckbill expansion method only has two symmetrical expansion forces, which can easily cause uneven stress on the entire circumference of the old pipeline and damage the inner wall of the pipeline.

Six sided expander applies forces uniformly in six directions around the circumference of the old pipeline, ensuring even stress distribution and effectively avoiding the risk of secondary damage to the old pipeline caused by uneven stress distribution at local locations.
