Swivel Introduction
The Drill Pipe Swivel is designed for use in any drilling string where frictional issues may prevent reaching target depth, particularly in long, horizontal extended reach drilling (ERD) wells.
Our Langwei™ Swivel is a drill-string deployed tool that enables rotation of the drill pipe above the liner in ERD wells. This innovative solution reduces drag, redistributes friction, and mitigates helical buckling of the work-string. Additionally, it increases available weight to push completions and liners to target depth in ERD applications.
