High-density EVA Fender Description
High-density EVA fenders are an alternative to pneumatic fenders. They are made of a closed foam cell core covered with nylon filaments and reinforced polyurethane skin. There is no air inside the fender, so there is no danger of puncture. High-density EVA fenders always maintain their performance levels even if they are damaged.
Depending on the project, the density of the foam can also be changed. Changing the density of the foam will change the capacity of the high-density EVA fender, and is useful for projects where the size of the fender is limited.
As an alternative to the pneumatic rubber fender, the high-density EVA fender is extremely durable. Moreover, without air inside, there’s no risk of bursting or sinking. And it’s widely used in harbor, offshore platform, or ship to ship operations. Jerryborg’s high-density EVA fenders are available in black and other customized colors upon customer’s request.

Structure Of High-density EVA Fender
- Closed-cell EVA foam
Closed-cell polyethylene foam performs well in high durability and sturdiness even at extremely low temperatures.
- Reinforced rubber nylon cord fabric
Nylon and tire cord reinforcement is strong enough to protect the foam inside
- High elastomer polyurea skin
Outerwear surface is the non-marking polyurethane, which is resistant to acid and alkali, besides it has higher load-bearing capacity and impact resistance.
