Pneumatic dock fenders are widely used for ship-to-ship transfer, double banking, and ship-to-dock berths. They are preferably used in ports where the tides vary greatly. Jerryborg's pneumatic dock fenders can be easily deflated, enabling simple and cost-effective relocation, providing protection in the dock and ship-to-ship mooring scenarios. We offer pneumatic dock fenders in various sizes, and they can also be fitted with tires or chain nets to provide additional protection.
Fully compliant with the ISO17357 standard, Jerryborg’s pneumatic dock fender supplies with a variety of specifications and dimensions to meet customer’s requests and different application conditions.
Pneumatic Dock Fender Structure
① Outer rubber layer
Pneumatic dock fenders are covered by an outer layer made of natural rubber. This rubber compound is strong enough to protect the inner layer and synthetic-cord layer from the damage of external forces and severe weather conditions due to its high elasticity and abrasion resistance.
② Synthetic-tire-cord layer
The Synthetic-tire-cord layer is made of synthetic-tire-cord fabrics, compared with synthetic canvas fabric and synthetic belt fabric, this reinforcement layer performs better in fatigue-resistance and pressure-holding.
③ Inner rubber layer
The inner layer is designed to seal the air inside the fender.
