EVA Material Filled Fender Introduction

EVA material filled fender is a floating compression fender, which has a wide range of uses and is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is composed of an external polyurethane protective layer, reinforced rubber nylon cord fabric, and an internal space, which is filled with foam as a collision-absorbing medium. The outer layer of the EVA material filled fender has extremely low strength, so it has extremely high wear resistance. The EVA material filled fender effectively absorbs the impact force, therefore reducing the resultant force acting on the dock/ship at the contact point.
 
As an alternative to the pneumatic rubber fender, EVA material filled fender is extremely durable. Moreover, without air inside, there’s no risk of bursting or sinking. And it’s widely used in harbor, offshore platform, or ship to ship operations. Jerryborg’s EVA material filled fenders are available in black and other customized colors upon customer’s request.

EVA Material Filled Fender Structure

EVA material filled fender consist of closed cell EVA foam core, reinforced rubber nylon cord fabric, high elastomer polyurea skin, and inner pipe and swivel.
EVA material filled fender is unsinkable with their closed cell polyurethane foam core.
Because inner foam and the outside skin is the same base material, they are completely engaged. So mechnical properties such as relieving stress, recovery rate, durability are improved. And EVA material filled fender is very easy to install and never sink or blow out.
