Hydro submarine fender is installed vertically with water and air pressurized inside. It's widely used in the applications of submarines and other ships' contact fenders below the waterline.

Furthermore, their performance is affected by the ship hull shape, gas mixture, initial pressure, and water to air ratio. And you can adjust the performance by changing the water to air ratio and initial pressure.  

Hydro submarine fenders are made of natural rubber and tire cord reinforcement in the shape of cylindrical, which is strong enough to withstand external forces and severe weather conditions.

① Outer rubber layer

The outer rubber layer uses special compounds that provide additional tensile strength and tear strength to protect the fender from severe weather conditions and frequent use.

② Synthetic-tire-cord layer

The Synthetic-tire-cord layer is made of synthetic-tire-cord fabrics, compared with synthetic canvas fabric and synthetic belt fabric, this reinforcement layer performs better in fatigue-resistance and pressure-holding.

③ Inner rubber layer
The inner rubber layer is designed to seal the air inside the fender.
