The EdgeRouter ™ X from Ubiquiti Networks is a model from the EdgeMAX series. This compact router has a very good price / performance ratio. It is equipped with 5 gigabit PoE ports and 1 SFP port. The maximum data transfer rate via Ethernet LAN is 1000 Mbps.
PoE Versatility
The ER-X SFP model is powered by an external power supply. Five RJ45 Gigabit ports support PoE
24 V and is used to power airMAX or UniFi devices, and the SFP port, after connecting the SFP module, enables fiber optic connectivity. The device runs on the intuitive EdgeOS ™ graphical interface and can be easily configured for routing, security and management functions, ensuring safe network operation. Advanced users will configure via the integrated CLI using text commands.
