Catalytic Combustion Technology Overview
Catalytic combustion represents a gas-solid phase catalytic reaction involving deep oxidation with active oxygen. The catalyst surface facilitates adsorption, increasing reactant molecule concentration and accelerating the reaction rate. This enables flameless combustion where VOCs are oxidatively decomposed into CO2 and H2O, releasing substantial thermal energy while achieving purification objectives.
Safety and Construction Features
The system incorporates temperature probes and supplementary cooling valves to maintain optimal operating conditions. When catalytic combustion chamber temperatures exceed preset limits, the cooling valve activates to introduce fresh air for dilution and cooling, ensuring equipment protection and extended service life.
Main structural components include the purification unit, induced draft fan, and electrical control elements. The integrated purification unit comprises heat exchanger, preheating chamber, catalytic bed, flame arrester, and explosion-proof device. The furnace body features 100mm thermal insulation, maintaining surface temperature at ≤ ambient temperature +30°C.
