Technology Overview
Catalytic combustion represents a sophisticated gas-solid phase catalytic reaction involving active oxygen for deep oxidation. The catalyst surface facilitates molecular adsorption, increasing reactant concentration and accelerating the oxidation process. This enables flameless combustion where VOCs are decomposed into CO₂ and H₂O while releasing substantial thermal energy for effective purification.
Safety & Control Features
The system incorporates temperature probes and supplementary cooling valves. When combustion chamber temperatures exceed preset limits, cooling valves activate to introduce fresh air for dilution and temperature control, ensuring equipment protection and operational safety.
System Construction
Complete system includes purification unit, induced draft fan, and electrical controls. The main purification unit integrates heat exchanger, preheating chamber, catalytic bed, flame arrester, and explosion-proof mechanisms. Furnace body features 100mm thermal insulation maintaining surface temperature ≤ ambient +30°C.
