The DRFN OPD70 RS485 Luminescent Dissolved Oxygen Probe provides reliable dissolved oxygen monitoring without requiring calibration. This advanced optical sensor is designed for diverse applications including wastewater treatment, surface water monitoring, aquaculture, and drinking water systems.
The luminescent dissolved oxygen probe features a detection head coated with luminescent material. When the LED light source emits blue light onto the fluorescent membrane, the material becomes excited and emits red light. The dissolved oxygen concentration is calculated based on the correlation between red light release time and oxygen levels, with higher concentrations resulting in shorter release times.
