Measurement Technology
Using fluorescence analysis methodology, the instrument emits light at 590nm wavelength directly into water samples. Phycoalbumin and cyanophyte proteins within blue-green algae emit fluorescence, which is detected at wavelengths greater than 630nm to determine algae concentration levels.
