This signal transmission chlorophyll meter is designed for monitoring chlorophyll levels in underground pipe networks and sewage systems. The instrument measures chlorophyll fluorescence, which serves as a key indicator of photosynthetic activity and physiological functions in aquatic environments.

The chlorophyll sensor utilizes the characteristic absorption and emission peaks of chlorophyll A in the spectrum. It emits monochromatic light at specific wavelengths into water, where chlorophyll A absorbs the energy and emits light at another wavelength. The intensity of emitted light is directly proportional to chlorophyll A concentration in the water.
