Low Voltage Porcelain Power Line Post Insulator 57 - 2 33KV
Transmission Line Electrical 57-2 Power Line Post Insulator
Porcelain insulators typically contain high concentrations of some minerals such as alumina or clay. The combination of porcelain with other minerals allows electricity to pass through without reacting with nearby electrical conductors. This not only ensures greater safety, but also allows electricity to pass through without losing any of its power charge. Since porcelain does not conduct electricity, especially when combined with other non-conductive materials, it is the ideal material for insulators.
Porcelain insulators have a wide field of application: contactors, disconnectors, transformers equipment, capacitors, grommets also with end surface, atypical insulators (filters). Characteristics of high plasticity during production, precision grinding possibilities, as well as carburizing and bonding with excellent mechanical properties allow a wide range of shapes to be created and used for any type of application.
- Railways: Thousands of insulators placed on high-speed and conventional lines around the world.
- Substations and Distribution: Support insulators with high mechanical loads and voltages up to 500kV (BIL 95 up to 1675kV)
- Wall bushings up to 72kV and 3150A.
- Transformers: Porcelain bushings and insulators
