Description:

    The crankshaft seal assembly is used to hold the engine oil to prevent external contaminants

from entering the engine oil system.

   Sealing assemblies for dry appliC-A-Tions (air and oil interfaces) usually include a main sealing lip

to prevent engine oil leakage, as well as a dust lip and a wear sleeve. In wet appliC-A-Tions (oil-to-oil interface),

the dust lip is replaced with an auxiliary lip that can draw external oil out of the engine.

 The C-A-T® crankshaft seal assembly is precisely designed to meet the requirements of extremely

demanding appliC-A-Tions. They must be able to withstand high speed, high temperature and

high frequency axial movement.

  The crankshaft seal assembly includes a wear-resistant sleeve to prevent the crankshaft

from wearing and provide the best contact surface for the lip seal. Wear-resistant sleeves can also

avoid costly repair or replacement of crankshafts, making repairs easier, faster and more economical.

  The C-A-T® sealing system prevents leakage and contamination of more expensive parts.

AppliC-A-Tion:

  The crankshaft seal assembly is used for engine crankshafts and other high-speed

rotating appliC-A-Tions, such as some water pumps.

Note: The entire crankshaft seal assembly should be replaced as a whole and should not be repaired separately.
