Description
The FCL-2 is a featured benchtop cleaver, press to cut, automatic blade rotation, simple and easy to use. FCL-2S which has an automatic fiber scrap/offcut fiber storage box (trash can/disposal bin) is also available.
The lid of the storage box opens about 45 degrees, the blade rotates a tiny bit and readies the blade for cleaving in the same motion of pushing sliding rail to lock. The blade is released to cut fiber automatically when pressing the top clamp and offcut fiber is rotated into box upon closing the lid, making this a so-called one-step cleaver.
The FCL-2 cleaver is high precision at a low cost, suitable for any job. Compact and ergonomic, precise and durable.
The FCL-2 is perfect for all cleaving applications from common Fusion Splice, Splice on Connectors & Field Installable Connectors to an emergency fiber restoration.
The FCL-2 cleaves 250um, 900μm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm and 3.1x2.0 FTTH drop cables with a 3-step process that will fulfill any cleaving requirement.
The blade yields 48,000 single-fiber cleaves or 4,000 12-fiber ribbon cleaves.
The default pre-fitted single fiber holder suits 250um, 900μm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm and 3.1x2.0 FTTH drop cables.
The Ribbon fiber holders (4, 8 &12 fibers) are available & sold separately. Custom holder size available. Please contact us for details.
