PVA film for embroidery use excellent PVA as raw material and can be totally soluble in cold water.It can be completely dissolved in the water with/under temperature of 20°C within five to eighteen seconds without any leavings such as draw-thread or gumming. The color of the cloth dissolved is the same with that before solution.

PVA film used for the embroidery allocation and the operation is the same with the paperboard. Its water solubility completely meets the strength requirements, and all kinds of embroidery cushions which are always applied in the bottom.

20C Cold Water Soluble PVA Film for Embroidery is widely applied to the computer embroidery, which attaches to the back of the fabric. Compared with the Hot Water Soluble Paper, it will completely dissolve within 10-30s in the 20°C water without any residues and toxicants, which keeps the good quality of embroidery patterns and environmentally friendly.

With appropriate strength, it can meet the requirements for all kinds of embroidery crafts. The embossing design avoids the needle jumping and skewing. Low flexibility avoids thread breaking. Environmentally friendly. Under normal water temperature, it is different for cloth materials and embroidery threads to discolor or fade.

Water soluble PVOH film ensures dimensional stability, keeping the final size of the embroidered pattern unaltered. It can be eliminated completely by dissolving in cold water, thus allowing the film to be washed away without damaging the fabric.

It can be used on fine fabrics, organza, tulle, transparent fabrics, silk, towelling, knitwear, velvet and on flocked fabrics. It’s also perfect on T-shirts, polo shirts and piqué fabrics.

Where embroidery patterns have many stitches the use of a heavier backing is recommended to make the work more stable.

Depending on requirements, water soluble film can be made in different sizes and in a thickness range from 25 to 100 microns.

The most common standard measurements are: classic 25 my thickness, heavy 40 my and extra strong 80 my.
