The flaps discs of Grassland have an abrasive to remove material and a lubricant that minimizes heat to reduce discoloration of the work surface. They’re bonded to a backing plate and provide consistent material removal and even finishes. As the top layer of abrasive wears away, a new layer is exposed. Attach these discs to your tool’s arbor.
 
All Grassland Flap Discs are Type 29 (15°) style with a built-in grinding angle for aggressive stock removal and are manufactured to the European Standard EN13743 ensuring consistent premium quality
 
The zirconium Alumina paper is highly heat resistant because of its vulcanized multi-layered fiber backing. It is ideal for the rapid and clean removal of spurs and sprues and other unwanted material. and excellent for the flattening, smoothing and blending of welds.
 
Applications: These zirconium flap discs are stocked for the popular 115mm angle grinders. They are ideal for work on both stainless and mild steel using angle grinders. Use grade 40 for rapid stock removal, 60 for more controlled grinding and grade 80 for edge de-burring and weld blending.
