Product details

For stainless steel, Grassland Flap Discs provide extremely fast weld removal combined with superior life compared to all other Flap Discs in the market. Grassland is well suited for all mild steel, high alloy, nickel alloy and stainless steel. In regards to Zirconia and Aluminum Oxide, The structure is meta-stable and under heat and/or pressure the structure fractures producing new cutting edges.

1) Raw materials: aluminum oxide, calcined aluminum oxide, zirconia alumina, ceramic and silicon carbide
2) Backings: fiberglass backing, fiberglass backing with metal hub, nylon backing, plastic backing, trimmable backing
3) Flap version: single fitted, double fitted, vertical fitted, interleaved fitted

4) Type: T27/T29

5) Density: standard/jumbo (72 flaps, 90 flaps or customized)

- Grinding and finishing of welds
- Deburring, rust removal and snagging
- Suitable for most ferrous & non-ferrous materials
- Excellent for surface finishing
