Features

• TMB-5 is a representative variety of amide-type polypropylene β-crystal nucleating agent. It can dissolve in the resin melt at the processing temperature of polypropylene (PP), and recrystallize with the decrease of melt temperature to form rod-shaped crystals with larger aspect ratio, thus inducing the nucleation of PP with β-crystalline crystals to improve the impact strength, heat deflection temperature and microporosity of products. In contrast, TMB-5 has a stable structure and the β-crystalline content of PP is not affected by repeated melt extrusion.

Application

• Widely used in PP-R pipes products, injection molding products and dry lithium battery diaphragm preparation process. It has pretty good synergistic effect with calcium carbonate. Moreover RMB-5 has a nucleation promoting effect on polybutene-1 (PB-1).

Handling and storage

• Stored in the dry and ventilated inside storeroom, prevent direct sunlight, slightly pile and put down.
