A: 18650 battery pack usually costs less than li-polymer battery pack for large capacity. Lithium polymer battery has higher safety factor. It can be designed into ultra thin battery(paper battery) or anti-low/high-temperature battery. Each type has different merits.
Q: What safety protection function does the PCM have?
A: Short circuit protection, over-current protection,over-load protection, over-discharge protection, inversely-connection protection, temperature control, balance, fuse, thermistor, etc. Our engineer will choose particular function to use for your battery pack in accordance with your specific situation.
