Low Voltage Aerial Bundled Cable For Overhead Line Power
Low Voltage Aerial Bundled Cable For Overhead Line Power
This low voltage aerial bundled cable (ABC) is purpose‑built for overhead line power distribution, replacing traditional bare conductor systems with a safer, more reliable alternative. The cable comprises several insulated aluminum phase conductors twisted around a neutral messenger, forming a compact, self‑supporting assembly. Each conductor is covered with UV‑stabilized XLPE insulation that resists cracking, moisture ingress, and temperature swings. Designed for 0.6/1kV networks, this ABC reduces fault rates caused by tree branches, animals, or wind‑borne debris, while lowering installation costs by eliminating cross‑arms and ceramic insulators.
APPLICATION
The power cables with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation for overhead lines are designed for electrical installations with alternating power networks with a nominal voltage of Uo/U 0.6/1 kV or in direct power networks with maximum voltage according to land 0.9 кV.
