Construction

- Excellent conductivity: Among all commonly used overhead conductors, AAC has the highest conductivity (about 61% IACS) and the lowest resistance, making it an ideal choice for achieving efficient power transmission and reducing line losses.
- Lightweight: The low density of aluminum makes AAC one of the lightest overhead conductors, effectively reducing the mechanical load on towers.
- Low loss transmission: With high conductivity, its line loss and heat generation are lower than other alloys or composite wires when transmitting the same current, resulting in significant energy-saving effects.
- Good flexibility and ease of installation: The wire is soft, making it easy to lay out, bend, and install in the field. It can adapt to complex wiring paths, saving construction time and labor costs.
- Sufficient mechanical strength: For conventional spans and medium and low voltage distribution lines, their mechanical strength fully meets the design requirements, and their performance is stable and reliable.
