ACSR is a composite concentric-lay-stranded conductor featuring a galvanized steel core surrounded by one or more layers of EC Grade Aluminum wires. The steel core may consist of single strand or concentric-stranded configurations of 7, 19, 37, or more wires, offering numerous combinations of aluminum and steel strands for various applications.
ACSR conductors are widely used in power transmission lines across various voltage levels due to their simple structure, easy installation and maintenance, cost-effectiveness, and large transmission capacity. Ideal for challenging geographical conditions including river crossings, valleys, and areas with special terrain features.
