Outdoor Bare Aluminum Conductor Alloy Reinforced (ACAR) is designed for overhead power transmission and distribution applications requiring superior mechanical strength and electrical performance.

ACAR is used as bare overhead conductor for power distribution lines and as bus-bar in substations. Compared to ACSR of the same weight, ACAR provides higher mechanical strength.
